Monday Travel to Portsmouth and enjoy free time at Gunwharf Quays before we make the crossing to the Isle of Wight and continue to our hotel.
Tours at the Resort
A | Visit Carisbrooke Castle, standing proudly at the heart of the island—a quintessential romantic fortress offering spectacular views. Afterwards, we head to the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary, home to over 100 friendly donkeys.
B | Explore Cowes and embark on a 2.5-hour sea cruise showcasing the highlights of Cowes, the island’s stunning coastline, historic sea forts, and Portsmouth Naval Base. We then complete a scenic circular coach tour of the Isle, including a stop at the Isle of Wight Pearl, where dramatic cliff-top views await.
C | Discover Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s beloved island retreat, with its lavishly furnished state rooms and glorious gardens. Later, step back in time aboard the award-winning Isle of Wight Steam Railway and experience the golden age of travel when steam ruled the rails.
Friday Return home via the ferry to Portsmouth, with a lunchtime stop in the historic city of Winchester.
