Tour Highlights: Wildlife Park, Lincoln Cathedral Tour, and Train Ride followed by Fish & Chips!
Go wild for the Hex Hotel which is located within Yorkshire Wildlife Park. We spend one day at the park, which is home to England’s only Polar Bears! We also enjoy a visit to Lincoln Cathedral with a tour, and a journey on one of Britain’s oldest miniature railways complete with a fish and chip lunch.
Monday We travel to our hotel via the scenic Peak District, with a stop in the picturesque town of Bakewell.
Tuesday We visit the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral, one of Europe’s finest Gothic buildings, dating back to the 11th century. An expert guide will take us on a fascinating journey through centuries of history. The afternoon is free to explore at your own pace.
Wednesday Enjoy a full day at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, conveniently located next to our hotel. As the UK’s number one walkthrough wildlife experience, it’s home to over 475 animals. Highlights include sea lions, polar bears, tigers, and the majestic African lions in their expansive seven-acre Lion Country.
Thursday We head to the seaside for a 45-minute ride along the picturesque coast aboard the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. The visit includes a traditional fish and chip lunch and a stop at the smallest pub in the world! We then enjoy a scenic drive across the iconic Humber Bridge, followed by a visit to the cobbled market town of Beverley.
Friday We begin our journey home with a stop in Melton Mowbray, renowned for its pork pies and Stilton cheese, and enjoy a stroll through its riverside gardens.
