This carefully curated tour showcases Poland’s most captivating cultural and historical highlights—from the lesser-known gem of Wrocław to the iconic cities of Kraków and Zakopane, as well as unforgettable visits to the Wieliczka Salt Mine and the poignant site of Auschwitz. Our base for the main part of the tour is Kraków, a stunning and historic city situated on the Vistula River. Dating back to the 7th century, Kraków is renowned for its vibrant cultural and artistic life. It was the first city to be recognised by UNESCO for its World Heritage Site, with the entire Old Town protected for its architectural and historical significance. This tour has been a tremendous success over the past two years.

Friday Early departure and travel to our overnight stay at the Mercure Plaza Hotel in Magdeburg, Germany.

Saturday Journey to Wrocław, with time to explore this charming city located on the Odra River. Wrocław is spread across 12 islands connected by 130 bridges, and features lush riverside parks. Overnight at HP Park Plaza Hotel.

Sunday Morning free to enjoy more of Wrocław before we travel to Kraków, where we will stay for six nights at the centrally located Hotel Wyspiański.

Monday A FREE DAY to explore Kraków at your leisure. Discover its historic squares, museums, and vibrant café culture.

Tuesday Guided visit to Auschwitz, the former German Nazi concentration camp. A deeply moving and educational experience.

Wednesday Guided tour of the Wieliczka Salt Mine, a remarkable underground world full of history, legends, and artistry. PLEASE NOTE: the tour involves descending steps; return to the surface is via lift.

Thursday Scenic drive to Zakopane, nestled at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. Surrounded by lush hills and peaks, Zakopane has been a popular destination since the 18th century, known for its natural beauty and health benefits.

Friday A FREE DAY to enjoy Kraków at your own pace—perfect for shopping, sightseeing, or relaxing.

Saturday Depart Poland and travel to Kassel, Germany, for an overnight stay at the H4 Hotel.

Sunday We continue to Calais and return home.
