This fantastic, packaged tour takes us into the heart of the glorious Peak District. Here we travel through scenic countryside to visit Buxton Visitor Centre and Tissington Hall, where we have a private tour followed by tea and scones. We also enjoy a cream tea when we visit Derby Silk Mill for a private tour and finally a behind-the -scenes tour of Royal Crown Derby, famous for its tableware. All from a 4-star hotel!

Friday We stop for lunch in Warwick. Then on to our 4-star hotel.
Saturday Into the Northern Peak District for a circular tour that includes the Snake pass. We stop in Buxton which has been enjoyed since Roman times and was also a favourite of Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots. At 1100 we have a 90-min. Premium Guided tour which takes in the Victorian Pump House and stories of Buxton Crescent and its historic visitors.
Sunday To Matlock Bath, known as ‘Little Switzerland,’ on account of its magnificent views and with a long high street lined with cafes and quirky shops. Then to the Museum of Making at Derby Silk Mill for 1400 where we have a Private Tour and a Cream Tea. It celebrates the area’s rich history with the Silk Mill widely regarded as the first modern factory in the world.
Monday Tissington Hall is set in over 2000 acres of Peak District countryside and has over 400 years of rich history. At 1000 we have a private tour of this Grade III listed Jacobean mansion which includes a 3000-book library and film-set formal rooms. Afterwards we are treated to a hot drink and a scone. Then to Denby Pottery Village where you can discover the largest selection of Denby stoneware in the world. We have a Museum Tour and then you can shop and experience all there is to offer at the Pottery Village.
Tuseday We return with a lunch time stop in Stratford-upon-Avon.
