Waverley Paddle Steamer around the Isle of Wight

Waverley is one of the world’s greatest historic ships – the last sea-going paddle steamer in the world – magnificently restored with towering funnels, timber decks and gleaming varnish and brass. You can see and hear the mighty steam engines as they propel the paddles that take Waverley majestically through the sea.

Waverley maintains the long tradition of Pleasure Steamer trips on the South Coast of England since Victorian Days, giving you the chance to recapture happy memories or explore new places as we steam Round the Isle of Wight and see the famous Needles.

You can eat and drink on board (not included in ticket price), with some of the best views in the world, in the Dining Saloon, Caledonian Tea Room, Jeanie Deans Lounge or the Lower Bar.

We board and alight our cruise from Portsmouth.

Arrival time at resort: 12:55 approx.
Departure time from resort: 19:40 approx.
Back by (Central Swindon): 22:00 approx.

PLEASE NOTE: The above timings are approximate guidelines ONLY. All timings are subject to traffic conditions on the day of travel which are beyond our control. Our driver will be able to give you a better time frame on the day.

PLEASE NOTE RE BOARDING  Waverley will berth at the International Terminal with passengers conveyed by a mandatory tender provided by Gosport-Portsmouth Ferries. The tender vessel sails from The Hard, Portsmouth Harbour. Please note that passengers in wheelchairs are not able to transfer via tender.
