Tours at Resort
A | We view the magnificent coastal scenery along the south of the island as we travel to Alum Bay overlooking the Needles. Later we call in at West Cowes, beautifully set on the estuary with its busy harbour and narrow streets.
B | In the morning we visit Shanklin, a traditional seaside town that regularly tops the charts for the number of sunshine hours and has a great beach, shops and cafes. It also has an old town that is worth exploring. We spend the afternoon in Ryde, it is the largest town on the Island and in addition to an expanse of sandy beaches, which stretch right along the town, it has a great selection of boutique shops, museums, and galleries.
C | A half-day out to Newport, the island’s attractive capital at the head of the estuary. We also make a stop at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary (free entry but donations welcome) where you can meet all the donkeys and ponies.
Friday A final drive across the island before catching our ferry back to the mainland.
