Visit Scarborough, the famous resort on the stunning Yorkshire Coast! We are also close to some stunning inland scenery and this tour ensures we see the best of both, including a drive through the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
The 4-star Crown Spa Hotel is located just metres from cliff overlooking the sandy South Beach and has many of the original architectural features still in their prime.
Sunday We travel north and make a lunchtime stop in Chesterfield, famous for its crooked spire and markets.
Tours at Resort
A | To Pickering where we spend a short time before we enjoy a drive across the North Yorkshire Moors all the way to Whitby. Whitby, a maritime city steeped in history with a maze of narrow streets full of shops. There is then a scenic drive back to Scarborough to complete a great day.
B | To the stunning town of Beverley (where on Wednesdays it is market day) that has a towering gothic minster, pretty squares and beautiful Georgian townhouses. We also make a stop in the resort of Bridlington, a seaside favourite that is traditional, renowned, and welcoming. On our return we view the impressive Flamborough Head.

Thursday We return home with free time in historic Matlock, where there are riverside walks and small, independent shops.
