With a cast of 130 performers, this is Europe’s largest Christmas show of its kind! The Thursford Christmas Spectacular is a dazzling extravaganza of non-stop singing, dancing, music, comedy, and variety. It’s a fast-paced celebration of the festive season, blending seasonal classics with year-round favourites for an unforgettable experience. For our 3‑day tours, we stay at the welcoming 3‑star Caley Hall Hotel in Hunstanton, just a 10‑minute walk from the beach. Known for its friendly service, it also features an AA Rosette‑awarded restaurant that guests consistently enjoy. For our 5‑day tour, we stay at the Palm Court Hotel in Great Yarmouth, a classic British seaside resort. Nearby, the Norfolk Broads offer wide skies, tranquil waters and timeless natural beauty.
3 DAY ITINERARY:
DAY 1
We begin with a lunchtime stop in the historic city of Cambridge, set on the picturesque River Cam. After time to explore its charming streets and iconic colleges, we continue to our hotel in Hunstanton, ready to settle in for the evening.
DAY 2
Enjoy a scenic drive along the stunning North Norfolk coast, pausing for an early lunch in Sheringham, a traditional seaside town brimming with character. From here, we head to Thursford for the highlight of the holiday, the spectacular 2:00 pm performance of the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. After this unforgettable show, we return to the hotel in time for a delicious dinner.
DAY 3
Take your time this morning—departure from Hunstanton isn’t until 11:30 am, giving you the chance to stroll along the seafront if you wish. On our journey home, we stop for lunch in Saffron Walden, a historic market town dating back to the 1300s, complete with the atmospheric ruins of a Norman castle founded in 1140.

TOURS AT RESORT
A | A visit to the towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh on the Suffolk coast. Southwold is quintessentially British and Aldeburgh is home to a pebble beach with fisherman’s huts, selling their catch, and a promenade lined with pastel-coloured villas.
B | A scenic Wolds drive on the way to a lunchtime stop in Sheringham, a lovely resort with diverse shops and places to eat. Then to Thursford for the highlight of the holiday, the 1400 performance of the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. We return in time for dinner at our hotel.
C | We spend time in Norwich which is a wonderful fusion of the modern and historic. Its centre is easy to walk around, has a river at its heart and is the most complete medieval city in the UK with stunning Norman Cathedral and Castle. It also has superb independent as well as High Street shopping and a quaint covered market.
FRIDAY We return home with a stop in St Albans, a cathedral city with history dating back to Roman times.
