North Devon and Exmoor

First Day We begin our journey to Devon with a lunchtime stop in the historic city of Wells. Known for its magnificent cathedral and charming medieval centre, Wells also features the unique, moated Bishop’s Palace.

Tours at the Resort
A | Our day starts in the historic harbour town of Bideford, full of character, independent shops, and a scenic quay. We then head to Woolacombe, where dramatic coastal scenery meets the rolling Atlantic waves on its award-winning beach. With lively cafés and shops, it’s ideal for both relaxation and exploration. Alternatively, you can choose to return to Ilfracombe for free time.

B | Today’s scenic drive takes us across Exmoor, passing through Simonsbath and Wheddon Cross en route to Dunster, one of the region’s most picturesque villages. After a short stop, we continue to Lynmouth for lunch, where you’ll have the opportunity to ride the famous cliff railway (ticket not included) up to Lynton, offering stunning views of the coastline.

C | We visit Barnstaple, a riverside town on the River Taw, home to the covered Victorian Pannier Market and the historic Butchers Row. Afterwards, enjoy free time back in Ilfracombe.

Last Day As we begin our journey home, we travel through the dramatic Valley of Rocks, known for its towering cliffs and wild goats. We then make a final stop in Minehead, a vibrant seaside town with sweeping views and a welcoming promenade.
